Careers

The attorneys, paralegals and staff of Halbrook Wood work together as a team to provide our clients excellent service. We take time to get to know each other at friendly gatherings and events, and we strive to form meaningful relationships both within the office and with our clients. We are committed to hiring a diverse workforce, helping each individual feel included in the firm, and retaining individuals from all backgrounds to stay and build their careers.  When hiring, we look for motivated and service-minded individuals who like to work hard to get the win.

Newer associates will immediately gain hands-on experience in a variety of practice areas, will work directly with clients, and will play a key role in the successful litigation of cases. Each associate works directly on a team with one partner who mentors the attorney and is committed to their professional development and career growth. Paralegals also serve clients as an important member of one partner’s team and are highly valued professionals supporting each stage of litigation.

Our firm is located in Prairie Village, Kansas, just across the Missouri state line, near both the Prairie Village and Corinth retail, entertainment and restaurant hubs. We offer competitive salaries and benefits, including firm-paid health insurance for employees, life insurance, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) savings plan with employer matching, and paid time off.
