Some beautiful decor from my favorite local store helps brighten my day.

Prior to joining Halbrook Wood, Monica worked as a prosecutor for 13 years. During that time she handled jury trials and thousands of bench trials.  She was recognized in the Community Resilience Leadership Archive by UMKC for her commitment to create and sustain resilience and collective impact in Kansas City.  She is active in the community as a public speaking coach for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kansas City and as an alumna of the Centurions Leadership program through the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce.  She is also active in leadership for the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association and is a member of the Association for Women Lawyers of Greater Kansas City and the Kansas Women Attorneys Association.
